Brief description of school:
Fairmead School is situated on the North East outskirts of Yeovil. It has a very wide catchment area taking pupils from Bruton, Chard and Somerton down and into parts of Dorset. The school caters for students with moderate learning difficulties and complex needs, aged between 4 and 19 yrs.

This group is open to parents and carers of all children and young people with additional needs, whether they attend a Mainstream school, Special school or are Home Educated.
Behaviour Strategies for Individual Pupils
Fairmead can support schools in developing behaviour strategies for individual pupils and whole school systems for behaviour management. All staff are trained in Team Teach.
Parent and Family Support Advisor (PFSA)
Our Parent and Family Support Advisor offers advice and support through the Family Links programme. This programme offers effective ways of encouraging co-operative behaviours, empowering both parents and children. It also offers an emotional literacy programme.
