Grade 10 (Points 26-31) £34,834 - £39.186 FTE, £16,094-£18,104 Actual Salary

Term time: 40 Working Weeks

3 days per week (18.99 hrs) Wednesday to Friday

Wednesday:   08:40 – 15:45 hrs (which includes 15 minutes Team Meeting at the end of the day)

Thursday:       08:40 – 16:15 hrs (which includes 45 minutes for CPD at the end of the day)

Friday:            08:40 – 15:30 hrs

There may be the potential to extend days/hours in the future

Fiveways Special School is looking to appoint an experienced and well-qualified Nurse to play a key role in the pastoral team.

As School Nurse, you will supervise the medical room and provide a clinically effective, high-quality nursing and first aid service . As well as caring for sick, injured and distressed individuals from the school community, you will contribute to the monitoring and recording of the health status of all pupils at the school.

You will be a reliable, professional and approachable individual, possessing an appropriate nursing qualification and registration. You will also need good IT/admin skills in order to manage the school's database of pupils' medical details.

To be a valued member of a dedicated team at our ‘outstanding’ (OFSTED) school, leading the support of the medical needs of this population, to extend and develop your skills.  Nursing, nursing associates, paramedic, health visitor qualification would be of a significant advantage.
