Occupational Therapist

Salary: NHS bands 5 – 6 (£24,214 - £37,267) per annum, pro rata

2 days per week (8.30-4.30pm)

Term time only plus 2 inset days

Start Date: September 2020

Fixed term for a year

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and innovative Occupational Therapist to work at The Mendip School, a school for children aged 4-19 with autism and Speech Language and Communication Needs (SLCN).

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing a high quality and individualised package of care for children with a range of SEND, predominantly autism.  We are looking to appoint someone who has experience of working within a school setting, although applicants with limited specialist school knowledge will be considered.  The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion to work within an established group of professionals and their skills will complement and enhance the team.
